Turned up quickly, clearly knew what he was doing, and talked me through the fix in plain terms. Hard to find a tradesman who does that these days.

Used Matt for a full home renovation. Worked to a tight timeline, communicated clearly throughout, and the finished result was better than we expected.

Katie Chapman

Replied fast, even out of hours, and picked up extra work on the spot without a fuss. Recommend RAV to anyone who needs a reliable sparky.

Scott Whibley

Came out quickly to sort a breaker that kept tripping the AC, then checked the whole meter box before leaving to make sure everything was sound.

Common questions

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. Request a quote online or call, and we'll give you a free, no-obligation quote on any electrical job.

I have an electrical emergency. What do I do?

If it's safe to do so, switch off the power at your main switchboard first, then call us straight away for fast emergency help.

How often should my home be inspected?

Generally every 5 years for a residential property, and yearly for older homes or commercial premises.

How do I know if my home needs rewiring?

Watch for frequent trips, flickering lights, burning smells from outlets, or wiring more than 30 years old. Any of these is worth getting inspected.

Do you install backup generator connections?

Yes. We fit generator inlets and changeover switches, and assess which household loads your generator can supply, so you can run essentials safely during a blackout. Never connect a generator to your home wiring without a proper changeover switch.

Can my hot water run on my solar power?

Often, yes. For suitable electric storage or heat pump systems we can schedule heating for solar-producing hours or cheaper electricity periods. Grid power may still be needed when solar generation is low, and your electricity plan can affect the savings, so we assess your setup first.

My circuit breaker keeps tripping. Why?

Usually an overloaded circuit, a faulty appliance, or a wiring fault. Try unplugging a few things and resetting it. If it keeps happening, get a licensed electrician to check it.

Why is my power bill so high?

Often it's inefficient appliances, outdated wiring, heavy heating or cooling use, or standby power drain. We can help assess usage and suggest fixes.
